Arnold Landon Warner Sr., 81, of Culpeper, Va. and formerly a longtime resident of Forestville, Md., died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 18, 1936 in Weston, West Virginia, an only child, to the late Mary M. Bruffey and Albert Arnold Warner. Mr. Warner was a carpenter, like his father, and learned his skills from his beloved Aunt Zelah and Uncle Lytle Reeder. Over 50 years, he worked as a drapery installer, in the field of window treatments, also commercial and residential awnings and outdoor party tents throughout the Washington Metropolitan area. He shared his lifelong love of fishing with his father, son, and lots of lucky friends. His wife, Ruby, of 53 years, preceded him in death on March 20, 2008. He is survived by his four children, nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. His children have abided by his last wishes to be cremated with no funeral services. The family has held a private Celebration of Life ceremony. Online guestbook available at johnsoncares.com.
